Charlotte Gagner, PH.D Student, Draws Media Attention With Her Thesis Work

In her doctoral work, Charlotte Gagner, a member of ABCs Laboratory, demonstrated that even several months after suffering head trauma, children between the ages of 0 and 5 years old still present behavioral problems. Following the publication of her article in the Psychological Medicine journal, Miriam Beauchamp, ABCs laboratory director, has been asked to comment on these results. She was invited by Global, CTV and V for TV interviews, and by Rouge, CJAD, Radio-Canada, 98.5 FM, and 104.7 FM for radio interviews. Several articles have also been published by the Huffington Post, Le Droit, Journal Métro, L’Actualité, La Presse, Ici Radio-Canada and Naître et Grandir magazine. During her interviews, Dr Beauchamp highlights the importance to maximize the positive impacts in parent-child relationship in order to lessen the behavioral consequences of concussion.
