History of women in Québec: Miriam Beauchamp’s contribution highlighted

Our director Miriam Beauchamp made her entrance into the Ligne du temps de l’histoire des femmes au Québec.

The “Ligne”, launched by the Réseau québécois en études féministes (RéQEF), highlights the contribution of women and activists who have driven progress in Quebec throughout the ages. It runs from 1600 to the present day.

Through her research, Miriam Beauchamp, neuropsychologist and full professor in the Department of Psychology at University of Montreal, plays a significant role in scientific advances in the socio-cognitive development of children and adolescents and the impact of concussions on young children.

Her contribution also extends to the community through her various knowledge mobilisation projects designed to share knowledge in collaboration with key stakeholders.
