Knowledge mobilization on concussions
in young children among educational staff
in early childhood centers and daycares.

The objective of the COCO project is to raise awareness among educators in early childhood centers and daycares, as well as future educators, about the consequences of a head injury. Various means are used to achieve this goal (lectures in CEGEPs for students in early childhood education techniques, training for daycare educators, etc.).

Our team is working on developing a checklist for detecting post-concussion symptoms and decision-making for educators in early childhood centers and daycares. We are also working on developing an educational toolkit that can be used to address head injuries with future educators.
