Validation of a new inventory to document post-concussive symptoms in young children

REACTIONS is the first ever measure for documenting post-concussive symptoms in children under 5 years who sustain concussion or TBI. The aim of the project is to validate an observational inventory of TBI manifestations and symptoms.

Key Results

The REACTIONS inventory is useful and helps identify post-concussion symptoms in young children.

We are currently using this inventory of post-concussion observations in the KOALA project. Further validation studies with the REACTIONS inventory and translations and adaptations to other languages are ongoing.
